Though I live in Portland, I worked for Progressive Insurance for 10 years, and I've seen a lot of Cleveland, a city I've always...well, had less than affectionate feelings for. I've spent way too much time there on business trips over the years, so I think I know of which I speak. Once I managed to beat a snow storm that shut down the airport and much of the city by two hours.
I've always admired your love for Cleveland. Even though it's something I'll never share, seeing it through your eyes reminds me that happiness can be found anywhere. All you have to do is look.
It seems clear to me you disrupted a scouting party of the Canadian Navy who I have long suspected covet your fair city, most likely for the East European artisan foods found there. While I honor the equanimity and magnanimity of your reply I also applaud your intuitive civic duty. Salute!
